About the organisation
Pass To Me (PTM) is a Sydney-based charity which provides sporting equipment to disadvantaged youth. That mission, whilst simple, is designed to generate long lasting and meaningful impact by enabling the many benefits associated with ongoing participation in sport. Those benefits can include (amongst others):
• Enhanced physical and mental well-being.
• Improved social inclusion.
• Reduction in rates of preventable diseases.
• Increased cognitive and social skills.
We target quality (new and used) sporting equipment that may otherwise end up being discarded, and in doing so, seek to reduce the amount of such resources that end up in landfill.
The majority of our work benefits organisations who support, or communities with high populations of, First Nations Australians. Since our establishment in 2021, PTM has provided thousands of pieces of sporting equipment to disadvantaged youth in areas such as Kempsey, Walcha, Bowraville, Boggabilla, and Toomelah.
OUR VISION
A nation where cultural background and financial circumstances do not prevent access to sport, and where sport is used as a major vehicle to break the cycle of suffering, poverty, and misfortune in disadvantaged communities.
